Most floorpan rust repair does not require complete pan halve replacement. The right rear quarter is particularly vulnerable because it doubles as the battery box tray. Battery acid has a way of rotting metal away. Also, the rear quarters are the deepest part of the pan and tend to collect moisture. This contributes to the advancement of rust.This part requires welding to install.
